Southern Division police are  searching for two men who shot and robbed Michael Mc Sween, 33, of Quenca Street, San Fernando, of $18,000 in cash on Friday night. Mc Sween was said to be in stable condition at hospital up to yesterday. However, his attackers are still at large.

Police reports state that around 9.20 pm, Mc Sween, who is self employed, was in the company of his friend Kevin Logan, 29, of Preysal, at D’s Pub, Quenca Street, when two men of African descent, clad in dark coloured clothing and armed with guns ran into the pub. Mc Sween, upon seeing the men, ran out of the pub and onto Chacon Street. One of the men fired several shots at him, and Mc Sween fell to the ground. He was shot in the right leg.

The men robbed Mc Sween of all his cash. They also stole his Samsung Ace cellphone. They then ran down to King’s Wharf, San Fernando, where they escaped. Three spent shells were recovered at the scene of the shooting. Cpl Seetaram is continuing investigations.
